XRFARFLIGHT formed in Hamburg in 2003. Songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Karsten Genz and Daniel Gädicke developed an enthusiasm for experimentation, recording and touring. The band's sound has mostly been described as a whimsical, multi-layered sonic cosmos. It is clearly influenced by sixties psychedelic and progressive rock.
